Need of an Outside Perspective

I feel that sometimes having an outside perspective does help while you are going through such thoughts which might influence the direction of your career. I highly recommend you having a mentor in your career, it can be anyone your colleagues, your manager, your boss, or someone not from your industry whom you can approach regarding generic queries.

Steady Career Growth – A combination of Luck and Hard Work.

I have been fortunate enough to land great opportunities and work with some awesome companies and people in my career. However, I would not deny the fact that I have committed a good number of mistakes as well irrespective of the guidance that I received. Also, I consider myself lucky enough to be present at the right place and at the right time working for the right clients with great team’s irrespective of the project.

Overview about my Digital Marketing career

Here’s a small overview about my career so far:

I have seven plus years specializing in SEO, ASO and marketing strategy. Also, some additional experience doing various marketing internships during my college days, which was the foundation that has immensely helped me in my professional journey.

During these years I had the fortune of working at digital marketing agencies, product-based companies spanning across diverse industries such as Ecommerce, BFSI, Entertainment, Personal Care, Spirituality and Education.

With respect to the consulting experience across agencies I had the opportunity to manage and lead the organic channel efforts for clients like Prabhudas Lilladher, Youth Ki Awaaz, Faber Realty[US], ISKCON Desire Tree, ZEE5, Hotstar International [US, Canada UK], ICICI Prudential Life Insurance, ICICI Prudential Pension Fund, Public [US], Nalli, Zivame and Traya where the key generic goal involved increasing the visibility of their digital assets be it their website, app or a youtube channel.

Also, to name a few product-based companies that I worked for include Rizzle, Yocket, Testboook, Webind, Twenty19, YU televentures Pvt. Ltd.

Below is my career path after I did a few internships during my college, along with the change in annual packages.
